Located just outside the historic town of Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay in the gorgeous North York Moors National Park, England’s best hidden gem! Alum House consists of 3 Lotus Belle Domes, two feature wood fired hot tubs, all 3 have private facilities and are pitched in 3 corners of 5 acres allowing privacy, ideal for couples or families wishing to have time together.
The domes enjoy their own seclusion & privacy and can be rented individually whilst also being close enough to be able to walk from one to the other so are perfect for 3 groups wanting to holiday together

Alum House Glamping site is situated in a unique rural location on the edge of the scattered hamlet of Littlebeck, just 2 miles from Sleights and 4 miles from Whitby.
Take the A169 from Pickering to Whitby. While dropping down “Blue Bank” from the moors towards the village of Sleights, 200 yards down the hill turn off sharply to your right, signposted “Littlebeck”. It’s easy to miss.
* Follow the road along winding turns and past a few houses and you will reach a steep hill. At the bottom of the hill you will see a house called “Nestling House”, slightly after this, turn left and you will see a signpost for Alum House. Take this turning left and continue down the hill for a quarter of a mile….. we are on the right.
If you are travelling from the north or from Whitby, take the A169 towards Sleights & Pickering, go over the bridge and drive through Sleights, the Spar shop will be on your left. Pass The Plough Inn on your right, and follow the road up Blue Bank. After 500 yards you will see a turning on the left, signposted Littlebeck. Continue as above (*).
